A TRIBUTE TO THE PAST IN THE NEW SHAMROCK ROVERS FC AWAY KIT DESIGNED BY MACRON

Unveiling our first ever shirt with new partner, Macron, here is the Away Kit for the 2025 season. 

The team will wear the new outfit in tonight’s Conference League match against Rapid Vienna, scheduled for 8pm in the Austrian capital.

The Away Kit is predominantly lilac in colour but features sublimation graphics that recall the design of the club’s historic away shirt used in the 1993/94 season. 

The graphics comprise shades ranging from lilac to purple, creating barely noticeable darker bands in the main body of the shirt and on the sleeves. The collar is a V-neck, predominantly purple, with knitted inserts in the central part composed of alternating white and green bands also taken up in the sleeve edges. 

The backneck is customised with a graphic inspired by the club colours, the club crest, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, underlining how each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus, while the tricolour embroidered on the outer part. 

The Macron Hero is positioned on the right side of the chest in white silicone edged in purple, while on the left side, the club crest is applied in a purple version on a white background. The shorts are lilac-coloured with triangular purple bands on the hips and a white-green-white thigh border. Finally, the socks are lilac-coloured, with a white band crossed by a green stripe at the top. Also on the front is the purple acronym S.R.F.C.

Like all the kits that Macron creates for its clubs, this one is also made from Eco Fabric, which is 100% post-consumer recycled PET, a choice that confirms the strong commitment shared by Macron and its clubs in the areas of eco-sustainability and care for the environment. Specifically, all kits are made of Eco Softlock, with Eco Mesh and Eco Micromesh inserts to guarantee greater lightness and breathability.
